03/18 Had a late start to the day because some dogs were howling all night. Thought my campsite was discovered at one point because I heard a car stop at the end of the path and the door open. Turns out they were just stopping at the graveyard across the street.

Not as much climbing today which was a nice break. Staying at the Best Western in Chatsworth since the campground I wanted to stay at was at the top of a mountain. Glad I checked with one locals before trying that road. Was so happy to be off Hwy 140. So far Hwy 411 has been a dream compared to it. Took a side road that parallels it called old-411 and saw some nice homes.

Also saw the world-record road kill smear today but I’ll spare everyone statistics on that. :)

Uncle Paul said one beer only for you. He doesn’t want to ruin your Coke and candy bar diet!!!!! Love the pics. They are getting prettier. I love the one with the Bradford pear trees. They are a favorite of mine!
