03/21 Record day of climbing and a new top speed record. :) I ended up riding up the side of 2 mountains when I was only expecting to have to go up one. Going down was fun and I stuck my little camera on the front pannier and made a video. I’ll have to make some edits before I post it. I wasn’t going that fast to make 7 minutes of video very exciting. It’ll be in the Videos section (which will soon not have a password on it).

Other than the climbing it was an uneventful day. Decided that Fall Creek Falls was too close to where I started off in the morning so I settled in for longer day. The campground here is pretty nice except everyone is kind of stuck together. It’s tent-only in this area so hopefully it’ll stay quiet. The group of 4 college kids who brought their 5 dogs with them makes it seem unlikely though.

Had a nice pasta dinner and some hot chocolate. I suspect it’ll be pretty cold in the morning so I’ll be keeping the stove out for some oatmeal. I also had to backtrack for a while to get to the campsite because the guy at a gas station gave me some directions that either I didn’t follow right or he was thinking I was in a car and a few miles out of the way wasn’t a big deal. When I was riding up the road to the campground I also realized that I’d been here a few years ago. It was on a driving trip and as soon as I saw this old mill it all came back to me.
