Hey Anita. That's cool that you are waiting out the weather vs. just packing up and heading somewhere else. Looks like next week is going to be nice there. Life on the road sure takes some getting used to. I thought I was fairly prepared as far as knowing how to handle things that crop up but knowing and actually having to deal with them are two different things. Is there a road warrior's manual that covers how to deal with frustration or did I figure that out when I had those Sam Adam's the other day? :) If I had to extend a week into a month to wait out nasty weather I would have gone nuts. My hats off to you.

Welcome to life on the road, Scott! You've been getting a big dose - injury, Visa, tedious paperwork, where to be to get mail, weather. My week in Boone, N.C. has turned into a month hoping the sun will appear once in awhile so I can see some of this beautiful area without getting too wet or blowing away. At least I have the comfort of my home on wheels. I'm in awe of how far you have traveled!
