Did the underground cathedral tour this morning. Liked it. It was my first time in an actual mine (for more than 10 feet) and let me tell you I’m glad I picked a different career path. The tour was in Spanish but the guide gave me a few blurbs in English. Tunnels take you down pretty far and branch off into different areas. The main seating areas were huge. Not a lot of light in the place though so I couldn’t get any shots that show how big some of the rooms are. If they have an orchestra in there I imagine that would sound kind of cool. Several places had salt deposits built up on the walls and you are invited to lick it but I passed. All in all it was a pretty interesting tour. The prices in the Lonely Planet guide were way off. It was $9.35 to get in; not $4.

Welcome home Karen and Martin. :)
