New kickstand! This might be the one. It’s my first double leg kickstand. With the kickstand down my rear tire sits about 5 inches off the ground. I’m very curious to see if this type holds out.
I paid for 2 more nights here so now I leave Friday morning. Had some shopping to do. Bought some flexible wire to secure my front rack to the fork. Picked up some industrial strength zip ties for backup.
Regarding this lovely story: Is it wrong that I’d be all for aliens coming down to Earth, rounding up 2,000 of us (that enjoy shark fin soup) and then chopping off one of our limbs? Might teach us a good lesson. In fact, every time we needlessly slaughter something the same thing should happen to us. We’re a pretty stupid species but this might motivate some people to change.
